The Honey Hive Story

Huka Honey Hive is an institution in the Taupo region having operated from its current site in the Wairakei Park for the past 16 years.  Over this time our store has become a favourite stop-over for travelling New Zealanders and overseas tourists. Many locals visit regularly and also bring their visitors for a honey experience.  Customers who visited as children are now bringing their children to "see the bees".

Most of our loyal team have been with us for many years and are well known for their excellent customer services and product knowledge.

We're located just 5 minutes out of Taupo travelling north, near some of Taupo's other great attractions - Huka Falls, Craters of the Moon, HukaFalls Jet, Huka Prawn Farm and Wairakei Terraces.
